Summer Wind

There's a teeny-tiny rainbow in there.

September Greetings to everyone!

The title is in reference to the song most popularly sung by Mr. Sinatra. One of my Sinatra faves. Another good summer song along the same vein is Endless Summer Nights by Mr. Richard Marx.
Summer romances just don't end well.

I am here in St. Louis- coming to end of my week off. Tomorrow Bella and I fly back down to Houston and then will drive back to Port Arthur from there. Bella earned a B+ for her flight behavior- her flying meds seemed to make her cough. Honestly though, she did really well. But she was also stoned.

Anyway, I apologize to those who I have not been in touch with since I have been home. It's hard to do a lot in one week when you have appointments and birthdays this week. To all my friends I didn't see or don't talk to regularly- you know I care and am doing the best I can to stay in touch. Just because we don't see each other often doesn't mean we aren't homies.
im sorry and my bad mean the same thing

Here I am.
I flew in on Sunday and we celebrated the natal day of my mother. I have been catching up on sleep between appointments and such. On the day of laborers, I went to the pool with my sister and bro-in-law. Going to the Webster Pool just makes me feel like an old crone. We celebrated the birth of myself and Leslie on Tuesday. On Wednesday (our actual birthday) I got my blood drawn!! Happy birthday- now let's take 15 vials of blood please. That's an exaggeration but still..
Bella got a much-needed haircut.
Not much else to report. I don't have any fun facts this week as my book is still in TX. My assignment currently ends the end of October and we're going to 'figure it out on the way' (brownie points to those who know what TV theme song that was in). I am going to try to extend a couple weeks but that is still up in the air.

Where's Maggie?
Wish us luck on our flight back to the Lone Star State.

Peace, love, and spinsterhood,

ME

Special shout-out to Mikki- if she reads this, that is. We're apparently in a fight.
